Academic Success Program
WELCOME TO JOHN CABOT UNIVERSITY’S ACADEMIC SUCCESS PROGRAM John Cabot University’s Academic Success Program’s mission is to provide the academic support needed to maximize your educational pursuits at JCU. Open to both degree-seeking and visiting or study abroad students, the ASP assists through individual or small group advising and sets up presentations or workshops aimed at developing the most important learning skills. In order to best assist you, the ASP team includes the University’s Tutoring Labs (Math, English and Italian), the Counselling Services and the Library. NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH, ITALIAN OR MATH SKILLS ?You may attend any of the tutorial labs in English, Math, and Italian (free of charge) and learn how to improve your performance in individual or group tutoring, even working on-line if necessary. HOW CAN JCU'S LIBRARY ASSIST YOU?The Frohring Library staff can guide you in your search to find the most reliable sources whether - books, periodicals, or electronic databases. The Library Portal, also accessible off campus, contains general information, allowing you to search books and audiovisual items and to access on-line documents and reference tools from its rich collection of databases.

THE ACADEMIC SUCCESS PROGRAM TEAMThe Academic Success team at JCU consists of the Coordinator of Academic Success Programs, the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, the individual coordinators for the English, Math, and Italian Labs, the Counselling Services faculty, and the Library staff. The ASP Team works with other members of the JCU faculty, staff, and Student Government to provide academic support programs for the JCU student population. We are:
