Study Abroad in the US
Study abroad students from around the world come to John Cabot University for a
semester or a year. But JCU also offers its four year degree-seeking students the
opportunity to study at universities in the United States. This enriching opportunity
contributes to educational growth and cultural awareness in general and can help prepare students for
careers in international fields as well.
John Cabot has agreements with a number of universities in the US and
some of them have developed special programs just for JCU students. Descriptions of all
of the universities with which we have agreements can be found through the links to the
right.
Currently, we have special agreements with American University in Washington, D.C., and the
University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. JCU students who choose to study abroad
at American University pay John Cabot tuition and fees and while studying in the US may undertake an
internship provided by American University in Washington. JCU students who choose to study at the University
of the Incarnate Word can take advantage of an agreement that allows JCU to send a student every other year
to the University of the Incarnate Word without paying tuition. Occasionally, other special programs are
available.
Come see the Coordinators of the Study USA Program in the Admissions Office to further explore your world of possibilities.
