Slavic Cultural Club
Who we are
The Slavic Cultural Club is a JCU student club seeking to form a community for people
who share a cultural, national, or historic background and a common interest in learning
more about Slavic cultures.
Our mission
The Slavic Cultural Club's goal is to represent John Cabot University’s Slavic community,
promote diversity among students, and introduce members of John Cabot University to
Slavic or Eurasian cultures. The Alliance’s aim is also to create a welcoming environment
for students coming from Eurasian territories.
We believe that it is important for students to learn more and develop conversations about Slavic cultures, populations, and traditions without negative stereotypes. We wish to bring an alternative perspective into discussion and to provide students with an opportunity to practice their Slavic languages skills, promote John Cabot University across the Eurasian territories, and enrich the multicultural community at JCU.
