FULL-TIME TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS
John Cabot University, an accredited American liberal arts university in Rome, Italy, invites applications for an open-rank (assistant or associate) full-time tenure-track faculty position in Computer Science.
We are seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or in a closely related quantitative area, demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, and commitment to academic service. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with a background in application domains connected to the liberal arts tradition, with special attention paid to applicants with demonstrated interdisciplinary experience bridging technical, critical, and creative disciplines.
The initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of tenure. Candidates should be fluent in English, which is the language of instruction, and possess valid EU working documents in Italy at time of application. Familiarity and experience with the American liberal arts educational tradition will be considered an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to start in the Fall semester of 2025. They will be expected to teach three courses per semester at various undergraduate levels in Computer Science, contribute to curriculum development, undertake research, and be an active member of the Department and University community.

We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Economics who are specialized in finance, macroeconomics, banking, and capital markets and have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, as well as a commitment to academic service. The ideal candidate should have familiarity and experience with the American liberal arts educational tradition, and be prepared to teach introductory courses as well as courses in their area of expertise. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Candidates are expected to be fluent in English, which is the language of instruction, and to have valid EU working documents in Italy.

Adjunct Faculty
John Cabot University continuously reviews CVs for adjunct faculty capable of teaching a broad range of liberal arts subjects in English except where noted. Candidates are strongly recommended to have a Ph.D. or terminal degree in their area of study with the exception of language and professional courses. Preference will be given to candidates with terminal degrees (PhDs or their equivalents) and teaching experience within a student-centered learning environment.
