Green Skilling

John Cabot University students have access to a curated list of open educational resources that boost their sustainability knowledge and skills. These green opportunities enable students to make meaningful contributions to sustainability efforts and address the world’s most pressing environmental and societal challenges. They also make students more career-ready, at a time when the green skills gap is evident. In fact, according to the World Economic Forum, although green jobs worldwide have grown by 8% per year since 2020, there aren’t enough candidates with the necessary skills to fulfill these roles.

These resources are meant for students from all disciplines. Sustainability intersects with every field of study. Whether studying Business, Humanities or the Social Sciences, sustainability impacts every field and discipline. The resources below, many of which provide a certificate of completion, are divided into three parts: Introductory, Environmental and Social.
